3G (also known as 3Gentlemen) is a unique group that practices a unique and amazing hybrid of hip-hop and R&B. Though these genres were not originally designed to cater to younger audiences, the artists’ own youth helps make the style interesting. Older audiences also appreciate the fact that the group is able to bring a voice and style they have never heard before.
The Global Attack Mixtape series is always looking for artists who aren’t afraid to do something that’s never been done before. Creating a new genre of music based on classical styles and bringing it to an audience who would never have appreciated it before is more of a miracle. This is why Global Attack has decided to give them this honor.
Solo, Young Freak and Kizz are three long-time buddies who have been putting music together for a decade. Their work has been heavily influenced by legends such as Nelly, LL Cool J, Bow Wow & Lil Wayne.

Every artist defines themselves on the records they set. Solo, Young Freak and Kizz pride themselves on being the first independent group to have two singles in rotation on two separate radio stations simultaneously. 3G’s career was on the uptick from the very beginning.
If there is a single word to describe 3G, it is “perfection.” Wherever they go, 3G never stops perfecting their performance. This is why they are always gaining new fans and ever growing love from existing fans. The best packages always come in three and the world of hip-hop and R&B have reminded us of that since 2000. Current performances have included performing March 14th, 2011 on Fox News channels 2 and 11 St. Louis as well as as another performance on the Fox 2 Morning Show in St. Louis on March 23rd. Rest assured this is only the beginning of a blossoming career!
